Hello, My mk1 golf was stolen during the early hours of this morning. I woke up to find it had gone, I am absolutely gutted!!!! I cannot believe what some people are capable of, its just not right! It was a mk1 1983 Golf gti 1.8 8v REG Number:BAO 86Y, MARS red, 15" Pirelli P slots, Rear GTI Tailblazer with rear number plate mounted under the bumper. The car was in great original condition and standard spec. I had owned it for about 4 years. It was stolen from Carlisle in Cumbria 14/5/2004. Don't think i will be seeing it again but just thought I would post this incase it is seen or anyone knows anything about it. The Police man that dealt with it knew the car that I had, he said he had seen it about and loved it! He was gutted for me. He said it was probably stolen to order and that there wouldn't be much chance of retrieving it. It's probably in London or somewhere getting its identity changed
Sh!t mate, real sorry to hear that!! I f**king hate thieveing c*nts!! Still, there is some hope it might turn up, if its only gone missing this morning, they sometimes turn up a few days later abandoned.
