OK, so there's a dual carriageway I use every day which is a 30 zone but people routinely do 50+ as it's pretty much non-residential. All of a sudden lots of cameras have popped up - ELEVEN to be precise. Now these cameras look like the infra-red overheight vehicle detectors but there's nothing within 20 miles that requires one of these. Apologies for the crap pic but any idea what they're for?
Are there any warning signs of speed cameras in the area? If not they probably aren't. SPECS round here have three bits to them, a camera in the middle flanked by two sensor things. Snooper or Road Angel might reveal all.
This is just typical of speed limits at the moment. A 30mph dual carriage way They are not Specs, this is what Specs look like It seems strange that there are so many in one place. If they were for number plate checks, tax dodgers etc, then surely you'd only need two per direction??? Cheers, Jamie
I can check on my camera database see if the show up, Hampton Rd Twickenham E4,E7 or E10? or can you give the name of the road and the nearest road that joins it? Edited by: GTD.
