Just wondering if anyone knows why the sub control on my headunit doesn't control the sub as it should do.

I have a Direct 2400watt D class amplifier, Square Kicker Solo Baric L7 15" Sub and a Sony headunit.

The headunit has 3 pre-outs. Could i have put the Rca's in the wrong pre out perhaps?

It sounds perfect, but would like the sub control feature to work.

The only way of controling the sub is via the amp.

    Any ideas

    Cheers

Yep, you've probably put it in the wrong pre-outs.
Quick-test, fade to the front and then to the back, if the sub goes quiet, then its not in the sub out. Sub out is a non fading output.
