Sub fitted to VW Sat Nav Unit??

    Hello, anyone no if there is any way to fit a Sub to a MK5 Golf GTI Built In Sat Nav Unit?

    the only way to do it using the factory unit is with either an rca converter or a cache audio CLOC+D-2

    Forgive me for sounding silly. Ive googled those two. But wouldnt no what to do with them!! If I took it too a car audio place would they no what to do?

    they should do
    if they don't then i would suggest you do not leave your car with them

    Wiring up an RCA converter is simplicity itself...

    It`ll have four wires marked up as; Left +, Left -, Right +, Right -.

    Simply splice each of these into the relevant `+` and `-` wires from your rear speakers.

    You can then hook up your amp to the two RCA connectors (red and white), on the converter

    All you`ll need is a few meters of speaker wire, and an RCA lead. Both readily available from your local audio suppliers or even Halfords. :thumbup:
