My old scirocco has one of these with a fitting cert it uses a strange headphone plug style thing. It has now decided to immobilise itself and I can't switch it off. How hard is it to disconnect these things, very skint at the moment so will have to do it myself
depends on how well it's fitted. best find the immobiliser and unravel the wiring back to where the cuts are.
