TDI injector fault

    My mate has a TDI golf which has an occasional fault. The car misses and judders now and then and if he turns the car off and on again the fault goes away.
    He said that he has had it on the vag com and it says injector number 1 electrical fault.

    Is there an easy fix

    if it's a PD engine wiring within the cam cover will always be the first port of call
