Due to the known probelem with these engines I am having to look into replacing the high pressure Fuel pump, bucket and inlet cam due to wear and there being no old bucket left!

With the adjustable valve chain/timing on these i dont want to start the job before i have a clear idea on whats involved does anyone have any information on replacing the cam. I know my way around an engine and am trying to save on the labour costs.

Whilst I was at was going to do the cambelt too.

Any info, links or pics would be great.

You will need a set of cam lock tools for resetting the new cam. Fuel pump and bucket are only a 30 min job..
