Noticed a few posts on Facebook today sharing images of a white wide-bodied Ibiza, this car has been a long term project of an ex Prodrive engineer for many years now. (I'm guessing the FB pics have been plucked from his build thread) IIRC started off a rally car build but then the MSA changed the rules allowing the use of such a 'special'. With many parts being picked from WRC, engine is from Renault ex kit car that has been turbocharged. Sequential transmission, rear diff is from a BMW. No worries, thought people would like more details on it. Bloody shame there's nothing showing it being used!
Looks a right piece of kit, 627bhp and just under a ton are a good combination!. Dread to think on what he spent on the Motec software licence alone nevermind the car!. Looks like my old Nova widebody arches on the back .
