People who start planning and talking about Christmas in July. Who then have all their presents bought by August. Then feel the need to share this exciting news.

Die Hard is a Christmas movie. Fact.

    Nothing wrong with organisation.

Die hard should be wiped off the face of the earth let alone be considered a Christmas movie.

I thought I'd log into CGTI after AGES just to see what's happening. Oh boy I'm so glad this place hasn't changed much!
The honesty in this thread is very refreshing. Keep it rolling peeps!

Whilst I'm not a major fan of Die Hard, I must say that it was a damn sight better than watching and ultimately OD'ing on 'Chitty Chitty f@@king Bang Bang' and 'Willy Wonkas Chocolate Factory'.

Smiths toy catalogue plopped as welcome as a fresh turd through the letterbox this week, the pain has started.

Christmas, the time when I get things I don't want, spend on gifts for people I don't like, and can't afford to buy myself anything.

One bright note (to me anyway) is the prediction of a shortage of toys for the C-word this year, due to shipping difficulties from the far east.

As to Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, apparently the name previously applied to a post WW 1 aero-engined racing car, though it was in turn borrowed from a wartime song, where the meaning was definitely not child-friendly.

    That's excellent.
Last place I worked did the ratatouille ride/shop in Disney Paris, plus where I worked before that we did a load of stuff when the park opened.

Bit of nostalgia for those that remember C&CC, found some old issues, before I was born even had them years, plus another old mag.
Weird thing is no vw stuff in them that I can see anyway or from memory.
