they're sort of mainstream at the mo, anything new gets airplay as they're the pods and british, everyone reckons said track will be "the" summer anthem so expect it to play every half hour on local radio stations

The streets are quality, something fresh and original instead of all the same old bilge that is produced by crappy pop bands. Off to see them in Leeds on 17th May which should be good. [:D]

Good at first ,not so good now(haven`t heard album though so I will slate them later).
BTW they remind me of John Cooper Clarke who was called a "punk poet" at the time and penned such classics as "I married a monster from outer space"
    Class act.

you listen to BIG, the streets or audio bullies

neither of them can sing and they know that.....but the lyrics they use and the beats that they put them too make the tune.

the opposite to someone like gareth gates, who can sing but his tunes and lyrics are utter 5hit!

I think with the streets its a cse of you love them or you hate them. I have to say I love em.

It sounds to me that he's sounding so much liek a ned, that he's actually taking the p!iss out of them. The new song, fit and you know it, describes sooooooooo many woman alround my way its untrue.

I prefer the more recent stuff, he seems to have developed a sense of humour that wasn't there before.

Not a fan really - I like the ideas behind the songs but the lyrics are really poor IMO, not clever. And he can't sing, so why does he try? I want to like them but can't...

MC Pitman is the one and only for me!! He is actually funny and his lyrics are occassionally quality.

But if it wasn't for Mike Skinner bigging them up and giving them the chance to be warm up acts for him I think they'd still be in the midst of obscurity.
