Just tried an online quote and they are almost double what I pay now and with a ridiculous excess too. That's also with not all mods declared as they wouldn't allow me to put all of them in:lol:

    Don't think I'll bother with them:p

    Tried and got quoted 409.

    So far i've had - Admiral 304
Elephant 295 with slight differences in excess's etc.

Thats for me and the wife, Mk IV GTI T 150bhp, standard except for 18" RS4's [Audi alloys], although is factory lowered and kit on.

Ditto!- nordoff- who do you use for car insurance then? This will be the first time i need to get insurance on the modified car... and the engine performance increase is at least 54%!

Same for me, they qoute 769, while my insurance policy is just 268, including breakdown cover etc - possibly the worst quote I've ever had in fact[:s]

Said it before, I'll say it again - insurance prices just seem to be completely random, a good company for one person, clearly isn't for all - you still have to phone round for the best price.

Don't be concerned - and you can reply to my PM, or my initial post.

We're just getting a lot of interlopers (edit: companies) at the moment, chucking up commercial ads out of the blue.

Link re-instated. All is well :)
