Just tried an online quote and they are almost double what I pay now and with a ridiculous excess too. That's also with not all mods declared as they wouldn't allow me to put all of them in

Don't think I'll bother with them

Tried and got quoted 409.

So far i've had - Admiral 304
Elephant 295 with slight differences in excess's etc.

Thats for me and the wife, Mk IV GTI T 150bhp, standard except for 18" RS4's [Audi alloys], although is factory lowered and kit on.

Ditto!- nordoff- who do you use for car insurance then? This will be the first time i need to get insurance on the modified car... and the engine performance increase is at least 54%!

Same for me, they qoute 769, while my insurance policy is just 268, including breakdown cover etc - possibly the worst quote I've ever had in fact

Said it before, I'll say it again - insurance prices just seem to be completely random, a good company for one person, clearly isn't for all - you still have to phone round for the best price.

 

So this was just an advertsing thread by the look of it.
