This isn't really relevant to wat ur after but in order for my toad alarm to operate properly the light which comes on when u open the doors must be in the correct positon i.e. the light switch must be in the postion closest to the front windscreen otherwise the alarm starts to go off randomly like at 5 in the mornin [:D] TBH i dont think u can stop it from automatically locking when the ignition is on u'll just have to make sure u leave yer window open a tad when its ticking over well thats what i do just incase it decides to lock me out

Sent you an e-mail regarding user guide
Passive arming will have been set by fitter on customers request.
it can be turned off by a Toad dealer

The position of light switch has no bearing on the alarm if fitted correctly it sees the earth from the switch not at the light end i think it is incorrectly wired up on your light

Guys, I have the same alarm and it's quit working on me just today! The key fob lights illuminate, and I've just replaced one of the batterys in them recently, but the car no longer chirps and won't disarm. Any ideas what is wrong? Any online manuals?

    Cheers

    Hi Ian,

I haven't managed to get in touch with the previous owner yet and, though they said it would be sent to me, i never received the pin number details! How would i enter it in anyway? Anything else i can try?

    Thanks in advance

    Mike
