Nice weather again today, so after a little bit of garden time I've got this out of the garage, new battery and first start for about a year, checked over for mot as has been off the road nearly 18 months and hopefully will get tested this week. Wouldn't idle so reset the throttle body and all good, washed it and now it's back inside, waiting. When it's on the road my golf will swap places and start the 1.8t conversion. And we have 2 tonnes of chipping arriving tomorrow to make two more off road parking places which will make working on the drive more accessible. And I thought was going to have a rest on the long weekend!
7.30am snow, only light though. 8.45am jump start the golf!! 9am gravel delivery, 10am finished spreading 2 tonnes ready to park the cars on. 10.01am Baz the Bengal helps by rolling the gravel. 10.30am Breakfast. Very lucky to have a wonderful wife that helps do things, grabbed a spade and we did a bag each.
Very welcome it was, set me up well for tidying the shed, finding paint, sorting bits for the golf and basecoating some polo parts.
Facon, halloumi, avocado, poached eggs and toast. Obviously the best way to poach an egg is take it while the chicken isnt looking.
