Just coughaquiredcough Tom Tom Navigator and Europe Maps 5.21 with Celeb Voices:lol:

I'll be getting a Nokia N70 to run it on probably, too. I'll need a GPS receiver, too, about 80-100?

Anything else i'll need? Will it just work, or do I need to pay money or register or anything? [:$]

Anything discussed in this thread is entirely hypothetical, and therefore, a non lockable-upable offense by the fuzz

GPS receivers cost from about 30 on EBay.

I don't want to sound ignorant, but is the N70 a phone or a PDA?[:$] If it is a phone, then I think you need to use TomTom Navigator Mobile instead. (If it is a PDA then that's fine.)

If the TomTom software you have has been fiddled with, then it will run
ok. If it is purely a backup copy, then I believe that you have
    to register.

You'll need plenty of petrol, because tomtom sure does love a main road in my experience.

Going A to B? Lets got 10 miles out of our way so we can stick to A roads only! [8-}]

My mate runs it on a phone no problem, with a bluetooth gps receiver. No touch screen, but same functionality.

Mine took me to the airport the otherday, only I did'nt end up at the main entrance. I wondered what was going on when I turned off the main road up some zig zag lane and then jane blurts out "you have reached your destination" err I don't think so love this is service point 3 with a big sign "do not enter" [:x]

You just go through the menus with your joystick/cursor button etc.

Works ok, but I prefer mine.[:$] You can just tap great big icons whilst you are moving along, rather than fiddle with the buttons.

i'd say thats excellent, bought my 700 over xmas from exeter, was up for 450, but got halfrauds down to 415.

it does show you some strange routes but if you get stuck in traffic, it helps you find ways around incidents.

I'm off to an airfield shortly for work, the postcode does not show up on any online map, but it does on the tomtom
