Tool storage?

my 150 piece set from Halfords has seen the last of its days in the plastic case it originally came in.

I'd like something equally as user friendly for moving about, taking it in the car for road trips, visit to the scrap yard etc.

what are folk using that keeps tool safe and user friendly?

I took mine back to halfords and they ordered me a new style case,in fact I went from 100pcs case to the 150pcs case.

Got a tool bag for my "scrap yard" tools which tends to have old stuff in it.

I don't like the hard cases too much as you can't lob in the big vice grips etc.

Got a nice big tool chest for the good tools in the garage.

i've got a separate box for other tools, i'm just on the look out for a replacement for the hardcase that the tools from halfords came in, will see if i can get there at the weekend and see if they will swap it.
