Track day cars

    agree with gary also. back before i went mad with the astra i did a couple of track days with nothing more than some -35mm springs and a set of 16's.

    3 major problems, first is brakes were non existent after a couple of laps, clutch not too far behind, and traction out of corners was dire, inside wheel spinning for glory.

    Hehe :p My point is though Darren, the current trend of prepping a car for track days, without having done any in a standardish car, just seems crazy to me. :lol:

    My little white MK2 16V featured in the Golf shootoutis up for sale. [:^(] [:^(]

    Pretty well sorted for track use and is a nice road car too

    The spec is in the mag........not alot left to do apart from TB's solid head etc etc if you so wish
