Don't suppose you've got access to create those for other areas then? Probably not, if they've got the security set up properly....

Unfortunatly some dealers don't like the words Club GTI. But you have to be aware that retailers that don't supply to the trade, have their right to refuse discount. Whenever someone approaches me on the retail counter with a CGTI card, i have a look to see what discount I can give them.

Why have should the public tolerate a dual tier principle? Isn't it bad enough paying 50 per hour for a school leaver on the minimum wage to work on your car?

When I lose my trade privilages when I change jobs in a couple of weeks I'll be printing some headed paper and applying for a couple of trade accounts

Just had an interesting idea... do the TPS places stock G60 / Passat steel wheels, and if so, what's the trade price?

    357 601 025m is the part number I think.

I emailed the Bristol branch on Monday, enquiring as to whether they would sell to CGTI members, pointing out to them what a fortune we currently spend at ECP & GSF & possibly, slightly, misleading them into believing that a lot of that money would be spent with them & what wonderful customers we would be.

I guess that their bull**** detectors went off cos they haven't replied yet

    Should have gone Oracle... ;)
Seriously though , I know what you mean, I've been working with Oracle for 8 years now, and some of the implementations I have seen beggar belief.

As for TPS, Cov will be my closest, but it hasn't opened yet. It's due sometime this month, and might just be worth it.

Hey Gary, I spoke to someone at TPS Bristol yesterday about CGTI members getting discount and he mentioned they had received an email from you about this. After quizzing him further he disclosed that we wouldn't be able to get TPS accounts even though I mentioned that other branches were. However, apparently your email has been forwarded to the parts department in Heritage and they're looking at some form of discount for CGTI members......

Seems a bit of an odd idea to be "closed" to the public, but still have a friday special. I mean, how many garages are going to think "Ooh, 65 for a CD changer? I'll buy 10 of those even though I have no use for them!". Impulse buying isn't really a trade thing.
