   I'm in the process off putting the mk1 back together.ive got a new set of clips for waistline
   Trim but they just seem like they don't hold and keep pinging off.so I might just ditch this method
   And get the strongest possible double sided tape(what's the best to use).

   make sure the trim isnt bent out of shape, you want it to sit nice and snug. also if the paint/filler is thick in the groove that wont be helping? doubler check you have the right clips for the trim you have as iirc there are a fair few different types for the mk1...
