tsr 202 cams

are mk2 gti tsr cams re-profiled standard cams or are they completly different and if so how can you tell them apart thanks

 

they are stamped on the end if its a TSR cam

As for how you could tell they are Kent blanks and not "standard" blanks well I'm not sure. I'd assume the Standard blanks would have VAG markings. I don't remember any markings on the 202 aside from "TSR 202" on the non pulley end.

 

Ran one in a mk1 I did and in Short it was Crap.
Put a kent Gs2 ...job done.

 

Really, mine is weird too. Check Engine 8v section.
