Hi, I've just won a TSR manifold on ebay as shown below.... When I compared this to the one on TSR's website it seems to be missing the small section after the coupler. Am I missing something really obvious? How will the manifold join the current system without the original downpipe? Not had any dealings with 4 branches before
yeah yopu're missing the other half of the flexi joint. that style is rubbish anyway id think about grinding it off and getting one of those mesh type ones on instead.
Works fine on my car... as long as the gasket is in good condition. The seller probably left it attached to their exhaust... TSR or Milltek will probably sell you another, but it won't be cheap. The other option is as RJ said, or use a straight piece of pipe (but expect it to break the manifold eventually, due to engine movement).
yeah thats the problem usually also can be a mare to track down a gasket the right size that isnt expensive too.
Thanks for the speedy replies! I think I'll contact the seller and see if they either have the part, or will knock a bit off for replacing it.
