Yup...still amazes me how accomplished "old" mk2's are on the road.... Its even more fun upsetting people in the Jetta as it looks so ancient
made my day to vell, still laughing about it , mike,s bringing some ear muffs with him next time as the wind noise was ear popping
but the lardy mk4 is twice the weight lol still dont think its 205 id say higher myself as i can beat standard type R's and even unfettled scooby's
Some scans of the TSR rr day feature in latest Golf+ on swdubs http://www.swdubs.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4832&start=15 Not sure about the connection between TSR and Graham Vanstone's mk1 tho (read the text on the scans)
Yeah thats mine. Shame there's wasn't more of a write-up on the cars and the people who attended as the photographer took an absolute shefull of pics. But it was their open day. As for Vanstones mk1, thought that was a John Reed built engine. I have a mag here with it in, but the power was reported to be 178@fly and 210@wheels. Did he have alot more work done after that then?
Fame at last, got a pic of mine sitting on the rollers, also found a link to a vid - can't see much as plenty of bodies sitting on her!!!! http://s109.photobucket.com/albums/n61/cheekyboy666/TSR open day/?action=view¤t=MOV00090.flv
