Which is better on twin carbs, the dome filters or trumpets - i know one looks a lot better than the other :p

What are the benefits of each?

What are these socks you speak of? pic?

I like the polished trumpets and nothing else.

    Is there a performance difference?

Metal gauze aint an air filter... are you looking for an excuse to buy a new engine? If not, fit filters.
