i have some 8"x15" BBS RM's (will have as soon as i get new rims for them through) and will be fitting some 195 eagle f1 tyres to them.

problem is, i'm not having arches once car comes outta bodyshop and car is lowered 40mm.

what profile of tyre will catch the arches less, 195/45 R15 or 195/50 R15 on 15x8" et15 wheels on a car lowered 40mm....

is it worth the extra 18 per tyre for the 195/45 over the 195/50?

    cheers,
    d

    cheers

Darryn with 45 the stretch becomes even more - you know how much mine were stretched, i wouldnt fit 45's on mine.

Another thing to consider, not all tyres lend themselves to stretching, so i'd make doubly sure the F1's will be suitable.

Don't bother fitting tyres, it shouldn't scrub much then...
