am I right in thinking that I have seen somewhere a product that you apply to your tyres and it makes them more sticky for things like 1/4 mile sprints? or have I made that up in my head
haha we used to use a similar stuff for R/C car racing, think they banned it in the end for indoor racing cos people were getting a bit high off it. used to last about 5 laps before it wore off. didnt realise they did the same stuff for real cars!
No you cant use it before Curborough. lol. Merlin Motorsport sell it too. But you are supposed to apply it 3-4 days before the event.
haha If i had thought about it at the start of the week I would have pulled my finger out and done, but not enough time now, and I still have more jobs to do before Sat!!! also Chris, the E mark thing is dubious, as the tyre is no long as the manufacture had approved, so its no longer valid.
sorry It was Paul C i was replying too, me not reading it properly and for some reason sticking down the wrong name as Paul said it should still be valid at Curborough,
Fine, I think I can see the point being made - certainly an area where there's no point in us trying to dig into.
