** Universal Joint - How Much ? **

Hi All,

Just about to change my steering rack over the weekend (eventually). So I phoned VW up for a new Universal Joint ...... got quoted 113 +vat even with CGTI discount that is urds !

?? HOW MUCH ?? Just for a universal joint > ?

Does anyone know where I can get a cheaper one ? If so are they same quality ? Or do I have to bite the bullet and get a VW one ?

(I know GSF, ECP & AVS don't sell them)

GPC may be slightly cheaper or you could contact TRW or ZF (sachs) direct...
