Vagcom on a MK 3

JUust wondering is it possible to do a Vagcom scan on my MK 3 Gti? I have both vag com & vagtacho & just want to see if it shows any faults,

If so where is the diagnostic port located?

 

Yes you can use it on a mk3, its behind a small piece of trim by the ashtray which you have to slide out

 

Cheers for that ill give it a go tomorrow. Used it quite a lot on my Bora for things like auto locking, Alarm beeps, Anti hi-jacking, So thought i should be able to at least scan the MK 3

 

Dont expect to be able to do most of that on a MK3 mind..

 

nah dont expect it at all, just really want to scan it for any faults
