i have purchased vagcom from eaby and it seems to work on some scans but when i scanned the abs it gave me the faukt code and what the problem was but when i tried to clear the faukt it said i needed to verify my copy of va g com is there any way round it so i dont have to shell out for the code via ross tech and 100 dollars i seem to get an error as well that it cannot connect to the module any help would be great please guys com port has been checked laptop is running xp its a usb lead and version 409.1 thanks
What car is this for? I've got a handheld scanner that can read the ABS fault codes but one time I couldn't clear the ABS fault code as it couldn't connect to the ABS module. Reason...fuse ontop of the battery for the ABS module had blown. Worth a check
