Bill I spoke to the dude at E38.
He said it was almost un-drivable while on the road.
To tell you the truth he didnt have that 'I love this car!' look in his eyes while he was talking about it.
I belive even with the LSD he still had major problems.
Your not wanting more power are you? ;)

I was at Stealth Racing on work experience when that thing was on the rollers for mapping,

It's so light it was bouncing out of the rollers, Scary s**t!

The guy made his own subframe for it as well to take the 1.8T, so i bet it handles like a sack of crap

    Nice motor tho!!!!

Well i would have thought it would throw the wieght distribution out a bit, but i could be wrong, i'm no expert. But i suppose all that power through the front wheels has something to do with it!!!

The extra weight over the front axle will cause under steer, but you get this on a Loop GTi (hence the Alu panels and relocated battery).
This wouldn't cause loss of traction.
From what I have seen on Loops with a 1.8T, the engine sits quiet a bit further forwards, so is even further over the front end.
Your never gonna cure this (weather you build your own subframe or not) unless, you mount the engine behind the front seats;)
The intistaltion on the Venom engine looked increadably good, was very impressed with it.
I just theres just 100bhp too much to make it worth the while.
Fare enough, it hit a Cover, but would it be any quicker than Mrs Bs car?
    On the track? Ya, maybe.
On the road? I think the Badger would take it.

    I know.
    I wish I had 10k spare lol
A mate of mine has just finished fitting a Turbo to his GTi engine.
Im hoping he'll have a go at it.
Think it'd be a great base car for a 4WD monster!

It listed as starting life at 940kg I think when 1.0E. It more now from the heavier lump up front. Not had it corner weighted yet... but guessing about 1000Kg now

My ibiza (stripped out(ish) and caged corner weighed in at 1153Kg as a comparison
