Video Editing

    Hi guys,

    What program do you guys use for editing your digital videos? ;)

    Ive got a video here from my mates DV camera, but want to make it alot smaller in size.

    Adobe Premier [:D] for "editing"

    For compression I just encode it in DivX (latest)

    Just search google for "video encoding" etc..

    I use Final Cut Pro to edit and compress my video.

    A sensible answer ;) Do you freelance mate or full time somewhere?
    Always got my eye open for FCP editors...

    I've got Pinnacle Liquid Edition and Pinnacle Studio 9... Never bothered to install 'em though.

    The one time I actually used my DV camera, I settled for Windows Movie Maker 2 (it's not very good) and good ol' .WMV (again, pretty poor).

    If ur new to all the video edit stuff use Windows Movie Maker just get to grips with that then use something abit more different and harder ...

    I use premiere now, though I'm not an editor so I have very little
    understanding of the process. I dont have final cut or I'd use that.
    Amazing how tchnology has come on in the last few years.. I gave
    away a complete Avid suite not too long ago :lol:

    and me, then turn the avi's in to mpegs using mpeg maker or something like that, nowt fancy like.
