Like others I like the colour but when are people going to learn that you can't make an old car look modern it just doesn't work!
shouldn't the grille roundel be black? Also regarding the OP and the green Mk1: I can only say, God loves a trier... (should that be tyre)
Each to their own and all that - I'm sure it took a lot of work and expense.... but not my taste. Another triumph for Helen Keller Customs, IMO.
And it was the one that was "Originally" fitted with a BBS Bodykit and a cheap refurbishment was done on it, to make it more Mk1 standard'ish.
& alittle bit of a The thing is I was looking over this car a few month back when I went to the mk6 GTI day at Millbrook.
Never understood "show" cars like this, no one will pay a decent amount for it and it's always going to be "X's" car ie. whoever owned it before you.
That dash looks like some sort of de-formed blow up doll and her air bags gone off... Colour does suit the car though.
This is a case of spend way too much money building, then try and sell it for what it cost to build in this case never going to happen!!! You never get your money back when modifying cars.
