I came across the "Volkswagen Classic parts UK" group on Facebook and saw a part I was interested in buying. After messaging and getting a reply, it turned out Paypal was out of the question and only payment into an account was available.

I wanted some protection as the parts are not sold on a shop website.

Has anyone had experience of buying from Marian Ailoaiei based in Hartlepool?

That would be a non starter for me. Either PayPal or credit card. Bank transfer offers no protection at all.

I thought you meant https://www.classic-vw.co.uk/ at first then saw it was a Facebook group.

Not very classic scrolling through. Mostly T5/T6 van parts after a quick look.

    mall seems a tad odd.

out of interest what part were you after?

He listed a good condition Ed1 parcel shelf as mine has a crack from too much weight on it sometime in it's life.
