i agree 4 lamp give the mk2 golf a classier look. but u dont get any more light than a two light setup as the midlle one are only meant for high beam (i.e. fog).

and only w4nkers [:x] use them when other drivers are about...

2 lamp with a red stripe - super cool and OEM looking

Or screw them all and go Rallye [8D]

wots up with using them to flash other golfs, only being polite - I got a BIG wave off this over golfer the over day - well made my day!

Sloganizer.net says "Four lamps. See more. Do more."

So don't be a big stupid dummy. Have four lamps.

Took my 4 lamp grill off and went for the Jetta look, not all my mates are convinced but with an uprated lighting loom and some uprated bulbs the light is much much better at night!!

And personally I love the look - and like to be a bit different!!

im in the same position i have the standard 2 and 4 lamp badged grills and also the 2 lamp badgeless and I cant decide what to have.
I like the original grills but i dont like the red stip on the bottom breaks up the black front.
Does anybody know of anywhere that does 4 lamp badgeless grills? or if anybody has any pics of a Dub with this on it would be much appreciated

have you thought about 4 lamps with all balck surround and black badge?! thats quite subtle. Or 2 lamps all black surround and a black badge- thats what i my current set up is, never been a fan of debadged grills especially 2 lamp ones as it just looks like there is too much empty space between the lights.
