Have finally got around to scheduling my timing chains/cams/DMF/clutch and new engine mounts for the coming weekend and was performing a Sit Rep last night. I have everything I need except for sealants for the upper and lower timing chain cases. I had a look at ELSA and it appears I need two types - one for the holes/pips in the headgasket between the upper and lower covers and another type for the sealing faces. Do I use RTV silicon type sealant for the pips and non setting stuff eg. Blue Hylomar for the faces?
