    It depends on what make of coil pack it is on your car, on some you can just buy the coil pack instead of buying the whole unit which comprises of a coil pack and amplifier

    If you have to buy the lot then its open wallet surgery Im afraid:lol: :lol:

    me too, but it ain't in perfect condition.

    i got one of a ford galaxy v6 for 25...its like new [:D]

    you may wanna try fords actually, as their parts tend to be cheaper than vw. ;)

    what makes you think its faulty?

    you may wanna check out vr6oc.com for any vr6 problems.

    I would if there was one close by, but its worth investigating Thanks :)

    - rough running with sparks flying around it when conditions get damp as happens quite often up here! [:^(]

    Closer investigation shows a "repair" has been tried in the past, and one off the posts feels loose! I think the spark lead is holding it on. :o

    ah, ok, its pretty definate then. just a lot of people seem to think they have coilpack probs when its not necessarily that.
