hi posted a thead just before xmass looking for a 2.0 ltr 16 v , abf engine for a mates car , hes now bought a vr6 lump ,gearbox ,wiring and ecu , is their anything else i neen to change as it will be me whos doing the swap , cheers .. simon.
Have a look at my thread here - http://www.clubgti.com/forum/showthread.php?t=102491 It outlines everything that's needed for a simple conversion. Brakes, suspension, subframe, crossmember/engine mount, ARB's, exhaust system, pedal box, shifter mechanism and lots of other bits need to be swapped alongside the engine, box and loom. EDIT - thats assuming it's for a MK2, loads more work for a mk1, and not quite so much for a mk3.
