Hi, standard pressure on the obd2 cars should be 3 bar.

with regards to the adjustable regulator usually with most cars a leaner mixture will make more power (there is a point where it will had adverse effects too and or melt your pistons) it seems to be a common misconception that a car will be faster because you put more fuel in the cylinders. i would consider leaning it slightly, assuming the car will still cold start and idle correctly. However I do recommend setting the regulator up whilst on a rolling road/hub dyno.

About 12 months ago i ran a well modded VR6 on our chassis dyno at work and it made around 194bhp @ the flywheel (this car was OBD1 with an aftermarket fuel regulator set to standard pressure which i forget now). Anyway to cut a long story short i backed the fuel reg off 1 turn and low and behold 210bhp @ the flywheel.

So ideally set you new reg to the standard pressure settin, then get it setup for power on a rolling road or hub dyno.]

    Cheers
    Jay
