well i also know that just over 6000rpm is 150mph. on the flat, still pulling!!! had to back up due to traffic (on my private race track! - at 7a.m. on a sun morning). also, started worrying about the tyres overheating...they were rated to 147mph i think!

The rev limiter cuts in at 140 in 4th gear on the Corrado, not a lot of help to you I know but I found it funny

Well mine put out about 400bhp and tops out at around the 180mph mark.

b*****ks, i havent been over 120mph yet and i couldnt see the rev counter at that speed because of my small steering wheel.

acf, you can work it out by the revs mate. If 145mph is at 5900rpm in Tuff Shmitts car (and he has the same setup as you) then all you have to do is divide 5900 by 145 = 40.689655172413793103448275862069

then times that by the speed you want to find out, and it'll give you the revs.

    eg: 50mph = (40.689... X 50) = 2034 revs approx.

then you can work out all speeds, as long as you have a point of reference in each gear!

i'm not a mathematical genius unfortunatly, so 50mph is about 2000rpm in fifth then? what about 70mph?

    70mph is gonna be 2034/50 X 70 = 2847.6 RPM odd.

Just divide the revs by the speed (the revs and speed that you know is right) then times it by the new speed you want to know the RPM of.

ok, well if it doesnt exist, then is one of you can give a reference point in 5th 4th and 4rd gears, then acf will have all his speeds and revs he needs.

the rev limiter in 2nd should be just about 70mph :p

so just go all the way in 2nd bouncing off the limiter! or more sensibly, have fun charging up to the limiter then short change to 5th and see what revs youre doing :)
