I had a post on the old forum, but I can't seem to find it so I'm going to ask again. My apologies to anyone that answered before. I need to change the rear brakes on my golf VR6. The servicing garage that spotted it wanted over 200quid, so I'm going to do it myself. What I'd like to know is what I'm going to need exactly, and any quirks or hints any one can tell me. I remember someone saying about replacing bolts while I'm at it... Clearly I'll need pads, discs, wheel bearings. Can I get a good enough wheel bearing kit from gsf ? Cheers for any advice
You should be able to get an OE kit from GSF - Febi bearing's I think. Replace the caliper mouting bolts while you are at it. Get a haynes or a Bentley manual???
