VW Badge on ’Rocco

    Got a 'chrome' VW badge in the grille on my 'Rocco.... will a black one from a golf fit?

    don't like the chrome look one!

    spray it then, then you know it'll fit!

    no it wont, they did do some black ones (on the GTX I think) I might have one somewhere (probably still in a grille) I'll check tomorrow.

    Spraying the chrome-effect badge will look crap as soon as the paint starts to flake off (and it will if you don't key the chromey stuff properly).

    More chance of sucess to swap em for a proper black un.

    Rocco grille badges are ~80mm in diameter, anyone know of another (VW -obviously) badge the same size?

    just sand it with reeeeeeel ruff sandpaper, primer then mat black paint
    job done

    I had a black one on my old GTX, but not my new GTX (but my 'new' one is older than my 'old' one if that makes sense?!?)

    ECP only sell the chrome one....
