VW for the world record?

    Boba Motoring has changed to a mk1 Golf from the old mk2 and has set a new world record for road based VW's with 150+hp less than it can run. There seems to be a three way battle heating up for the record, looks like the UK has it still at the moment.

    In the green corner representing Germany - mk1 Golf 16vt:

    In the (Red) White and Blue corner - Andy Forrest Subaru TOTB beasty (quickest by the looks of it)

    So, the top three to watch by the look of it for all interested in such things - tried to blag Boba to go for the 30-130mph record a while ago so he seems up for setting some world records, not sure where my loyalties lie though - UK or VW as the record holders?
