Post up some links of foreign VW forums & VW motorsport gallery's (maybe even non English) that you might not come across easily. Here is an interesting forum from S.Africa & what you have to remember is that the mk1 golf is still produced there (OK it's called a citi & is a 5 door bla bla) but there is a strong following for VW there & they race all types from mk1's up to the new stuff so you might find something of interest inside: http://vwclub.co.za/vwforum/ I found this link to some pics (enter the password it gives you to go to the gallery): http://www.sportzpics.net/ImageBank.htm If you do post pics keep it to 1 or 2 just to show what kind of stuff is in said gallery . Overseas VW forums - post them here! Found via some random Google searching: http://www.vwwatercooled.org.au Ausgolfer off here is a member over there.
I found that site a few weeks ago, some good information over on there too. Velly is there too i noticed.
yes, i am trying to get these Aussies upto date with the uk/euro way of thinking. they are a great bunch, its amazing how limited it is to get stuff out here. 3door mk1/mk2/mk3's are thin on the ground. 16v's are very rare!!! and you and forget about G60's!!! but they make do with what they got
I heard of a little forum called www.VWVortex.com or something, although its only got 1 or 2 members tis still a goodun
tried Volksforum and VWvortex but looking for german/french/spanish sites like this one ... I want one of their left hand drive mint passenger seats to replace my knackered drivers anyone any suggetsions
You don`t need to go to the trouble of sourcing a LHD passenger seat... Just strip the cover and bolsters off a mint RHD seat, and swap onto your knackered one.
