I don't want the GTI anymore - I want this.

    No V6 soundtrack though!

Will it look like that though?

Auto Express generally use `artist`s impressions`...

I cant see why. So the engine wont have as much character, but itll certainly be faster than a V6 engined variant with less weight. Its basically going to be an S3.

sounds great. shame about the loss of the V6 though, 2.0T lacks any personality at all. sounds like mine - a turbo hairdryer. i hope the alloys do not resemble those shown here. vile.

If it's like the S3 with 2.0Tfsi It'll be great to drive, drove a new S3 a few months ago, very impressed.

I think they're too busy driving up the price of Crack to notice.
As long as you can still tint the rear 3 windows, happy days.
Does it come with a couple of Mac-10-compatible gun racks?

I drove one too Garry. Very swift, didnt realise how fast i was going. Little rocket ship. Should be a bit lighter than the S3 too hopefully.

wish they also did a stripped out FWD GTi, think clio cup but of the golf range. Then the 4WD 'R' model wouldn't de-value the gti
