After a few years of VW trying out new names for its "Booted Golf" - Vento and Bora - Volkswagen are returning to the original name. That mean the VW Jetta will once again be seen on the streets of the UK. Its not surprising really, as the Americans have always had the Jetta name from day one, makes sense for Europe to follow suit - cuts down costs on Badging too New car can be pre-ordered from June.
Looks awesome. And they are keeping the same Golf front end. Rear end is very concept c'esque. I love the pics of the GLI in the USA too, its a Golf GTI Saloon.
I'm pleased they are using the Jetta name again. But it doesn't really surprise me tbh. After all VW seem to be looking back to their roots a lot more these days. Take the ad campaign for the new GTI. "The Original Updated" So will this car be the mk3 Jetta or the mk 5 Jetta??? Cheers, Jamie
ugly as sin tho. I thought the bora was a decent design and I'd quite like a 4-motion one but I dont like that at all nice that they are resurrecting the name i spose

The Concept C is a Coupe/Cabrio version of the Jetta/Golf, so the chances are pretty good as VW have given the go ahead for manufacture
is that what that was! i seen a VW last week and wasnt sure if it was the new passat or the new jetta now i know! dont think much of it on the styling side but then again i own a mk2 jetta so what would i know
