Vw mk1 20v flashing oil light

    My oil light is permanently flashing from the moment u start car up. No buzzer noise and have replaced both sensors .I have done a pressure test which is fine also have oil pressure gauge fitted.

    Maybe a bad earth to the clocks?

    unplug the yellow wire to blue or brown oil switch. does it stop? if so, try a new 0.24/0.3bar oil switch

    this assumes loom builder used correct wire colour codes for both oil switches, and wired them properly. might be worth swapping the 2 wires over just in case they're mixed up. you should have a low switch 0.25 or 0.3bar, and high switch 1.8bar
