I'm out to prove my Corrado can still do the 140mph it was sold as being able to do track day ---- to many corners drag strip ---- not long enough (i dunno tbh) motorway ---- whoops there goes my licence!!! so does anyone know if anyone runs an airfield day or of anywhere that'll let you have a trash down the runway what do you reckon?? thanks
M40 - never seen the police on patrol, too busy putting up speed cameras in High Wycombe ... but seriously.... I'm not too sure. Ask around some of your local parts places/garages and the likes of. They may be aware of somewhere that you can legally do it.
A few of the lads i used to know said they had ragged their cars round langar airfield the other side of nottingham.? But ive never been myself
Llandow, Wales. right by llandow race track theres loads of disused runways, not sure about getting on the big one but you can drive onto the shorter one anytime you want! couldnt get 140mph on there thou.
M1 Northbound one Sunday evening around Birmingham when I did it last. From current driving experience I'd say west bound on the M62 getting on at Junction 36. My Polo will only do 100 but you can do that there every day anytime after 6pm. A Scoobie passed me the other week doing what looked 140...
The M69 never has police on it...........my average speed on there is always 3 figures. Now they relaid most of it its like glass. Seen 130 many times
come to north norfolk at 2am no one around bar me just empty roads & feilds tested the top speed off most off my cars at that time in the morning on a road near me
thanks for the posts guys and don't you all mean there never any police around when your driving my luck does not stand up to these kinda tests!! for example failed my MOT wednesday morning, parts ordered, old MOT expired friday, picking the parts up saturday morning 5min drive into town, who should get stopped..... me so I ain't chancing 140mph an and instant ban airfield days looking good, few in the summer around lincolnshire so I guess I'll just have to wait a little
