hi all, hope you can help me.

putting the ancilliaries onto my abf block/kr head engine and came across a problem, probably of my own doing lol

the water pump pulley fouls the lower timing belt cover. only way to get the water pump on was to remove the pulley for now.

the water pump came from my original DX 'rocco engine, belt cover came from a KR, block is ABF...

it seems to me like the cover needs to be 5mm closer 'in' to the engine, that or the pulley wants to be further 'out' although i'm not 100% that the cover isnt fouling the intermediate shaft pulley causing it to stick out.

should i get an abf cover?
is it an ABF cover i need for the top half also?
    thank guys :)

Pump/pump pulley is your problem. 8v cam belt is 5mm narrower than a 16v so aux belts sit nearer the engine block. Get a 16v pump/pump pulley and problem sorted.....
