Got a Golf GTI and noticed tonight that my rear carpets and front passenger carpets are wet .Any ideas where this might have come from I know we have had a lot of rain lately but ?

    Most likely suspect is-
Damaged or missing door membranes -is yours a 5 door?
Pop your door cards off and have a look

If they are OK look elsewhere-
Failed seals on your tail lights -do you park on a slope ar$e up?
VW apparently still do the seals or silicon seal for a quick fix.
    or
Blocked sunroof drains -Do you have a sunroof?
This can be a bit of a pain, carefully clear out the front & rear drains with speaker wire

I would recommend doing a bit more research especially if its sunroof, apparently its a world of pain if you slit or disconnect a drain tube.
