    Car is a stripped racer to start with but as was a vw cup car I think there's still room to strip more out:thumbup:

    Tyre well?
    Fuel tank swop for race tank? Tank how much?
    Seen bits about fibre glass panels and tail gate etc worth it?

    I can only speak in reference to a Corrado, but unless you plan to race it I wouldn't bother.

    You won't save much from the tyre well. Likewise the tank, small savings and only worth doing if you're trying to be competitive against other similar cars. Fibre glass/composite panels would be a decent saving but come at a cost and can be expensive to replace.

    For a race car, yes, for a track car, no.

    I'd spend your money getting decent rubber, good suspension/geo set-up and decent brakes before touching anything else and deciding what to do. My 2p's worth.
