    I also forgot to mention i used to have a stong glaswegein accent cos i lived there for 5 yrs!

    still a dilluted geordie though!

    Don't know about accents. I live in London. We don't have an accent ;)

    It's the rest of the country that don't talk proper :lol:

    well spoken ilkley gurl (sort of, i have my moments)
    for example i say harrogate and northerners say harrogut.

    ppl say i have a nice accent tho [:D]

    West of Scotland/Glaswegian,although not the Glaswegian accent of late that seems to have turned into something else completley different in recent years ??? .I have found myself saying some Lanarkshire words/phrases now and then worryingly [:[]
    Used to have a laugh at some guys who I knew from a certain area of Scotland by getting them to repeat the number 711. :lol:

    Something I have always found interesting is why glaswegians pronouce 'I' as "jie" ?

    love the female scottish accent ;)
