Please post pictures of your wheels,

I'm running standard BBS wheels, the only after market wheels I like are the fake BBS's but don't see the size that looks right.

In my opinion 15" bbs. That keeps everything in proportion. 16 looks a bit big to me and 14 can look a bit small.
Bigger wheels are for bigger cars. Think about the proportion (old minis and fiat 500s look good on 10", mk1 and 2 escorts, sunbeams, chevettes look good on 13", mk1 golf gtis and 205 gtis want 14 or maybe 15 depending on the wheel, etc.)
    In my opinion.

I like the BBS with a bit more space between he spokes. The Mk3 and Mk4 Aniversary style ones.

    Or Team Dynamics from J-Tech

You look around and do what is right for you.

My preference may not be yours and all that...

I would agree with toyotec put on whatever you like best it's your money and choice at the end of the day. All I would say is 15" wheels are probably the optimum size, if you want something a bit bigger 16" max have used both of these sizes on a 16v big bumper gti this is imo only though.

    NO WAY Dave!!!
TSW Stealths are the only wheel that should ever be fitted to a mk2!
End of, you can all go away now :)

Flipping upsetting that Ronal are again manufacturing 'Teddys' but not R8s.

    Got four re-furbished Alpine White 6 x 15 ET45 R8s for the right price!

Will ET45 wheels fit a Mk2, seems very I thought ET38 was the max?

I tried using both the BBS and OZ wheel configurators but neither have Mk2s in the system!

My daughter's Mk2 was an Oak Green Big Bumper, and 17 years ago it was on OZ Supertourismo 15" Silver and looked OK. No photos though.

Got a photo of a proper Mk2 though!;)

Ronal LS wheels are also appealing.

    That is just me though.
